SK: Krištof Kintera (* 1973 ) je český umelec. V rokoch 1992-1999 študoval na Akadémii výtvarných umení v Prahe, a v rokoch 2003-2004 na Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten v Amsterdame.

Bol vyhlásený ako osobnosť českého výtvarného umenia za rok 2011. Je zastúpený svetovými galériami súčasného umenia a jeho diela boli vystavované vo významných inštitúciách doma i v zahraničí. Práce Krištofa Kinteru špekulujú nad možnosťami a rolou umenia v súčasnej spoločnosti. Kintera je istým spôsobom"angažovaným" umelcom, ktorý prostredníctvom inštalácií, objektov, videa a performancií kladie otázky nielen svojmu okoliu, ale aj sám sebe. V Bratislave bude v rámci projektu Bod 0 na Námestí Slobody v období od 14.10 do 22.10. 2014 umiestnený jeho 1 euro public JUKE BOX situovaný v mieste, kde povôdne stála socha Klementa Gottwalda. (vernisáž 13.10.2014 o 19.00, Námestie Slobody)

EN: Krištof Kintera (* 1973) is a Czech artist. In the years 1992-1999 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, and in 2003-2004 the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam.

He was announced as a personality of Czech Fine Arts for the year 2011. His work is represented by international contemporary art galleries, and has been exhibited in important institutions at home and abroad. Kintera speculates on the possibilities and the role of art in contemporary society. Kintera is in the way " engaged " artist who, through his installations, objects, videos and performances puts questions not only to the audience, but also to himself. In Bratislava will be within the framework of the project the Point 0 at the square Námestie slobody between 14.10 to 22.10. 2014 situated his 1 euro public JUKE BOX located at the place where stood the statue of Clement Gottwald.
